Society of Teens That Care
The Society of Teens That Care is a student organization for middle school teens (ages 11-13 years old) that promote a fun, positive and supportive atmosphere. It includes community volunteer opportunities that encourage family involvement. Weather feeding the homeless, taking care of stray pets, helping the elderly, making Christmas cards for deployed servicemen, or participating in a beach clean-up for the community, teens experience first- hand the value of helping others and taking care of the community. Character values of  trust, respect, responsibility, teamwork and good community citizenship are reinforced at the meetings and activities. At each meeting, teens have an opportunity to talk about issues affecting them today and find support amongst their peers. Plus we do fun things like arts and craft, games, candy grams and much more!
