The halls of Andersen Middle School echoed with pride and gratitude as students and staff came together to honor the brave men and women who have served and those who continue to serve our great nation. The annual Veterans Day Program was a resounding success, filling the Dragon Theater with distinguished guests, military families, and members of our community.
Student journalists unite at Far East Journalism
More than 105 high school journalism students representing DoDEA-Pacific schools across Japan, Okinawa, Guam, and Korea gathered at Dragon Hill Lodge in Yongsan, Seoul for the annual Far East Journalism Conference Oct. 27–30, 2025.

National School Counseling Week will be celebrated February 2-6, 2026, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems.
DoDEA Career and Technical Education Month
DoDEA celebrates CTE Month every February as a reminder to students that Career and Technical Education programs are available to all those who want to pursue a college education; enlist in the military; or enter directly into the workforce.
